Press Release: Amsterdam – The classic SMS message is rapidly gaining popularity among marketers. Not surprisingly, because in a society where the battle for consumers’ attention is increasingly fierce, the average open rate of an SMS is still a whopping 98%. In this light, two leading players, Spryng and MailBlue, have joined forces to offer a new SMS integration that takes marketing automation to the next level.
Total SMS marketing solution with European focus
This collaboration marks a new phase in enhancing marketing strategies of MailBlue users. SMS can be used for marketing purposes, as well as SMS notifications, SMS reminders and loyalty programs. Youri Meuleman, co-founder of MailBlue: “It was already possible to integrate SMS into marketing automation flows through MailBlue, only this was through a U.S. vendor with very high rates for the European market. This was not ideal.”
“For MailBlue customers, partnering with Spryng offers significant benefits. This is because Spryng is fully compliant with strict standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001 and other relevant security regulations. This ensures that European companies can implement SMS marketing campaigns and automation with peace of mind, knowing that their customer data is handled securely and in compliance with regulations.”
Leading players in the market combine strengths
Marc Rottinghuis, CEO of Spryng, notes the rapidly increasing popularity of SMS marketing and Spryng’s ongoing efforts to establish strategic partnerships with leading players in the industry. He notes that MailBlue has been in his sight for some time because of its innovative approaches to marketing automation. Rottinghuis says, “We regularly receive requests from our customers to link with MailBlue and/or ActiveCampaign. I am proud that we are now able to offer this integration.”
Spryng now available in ActiveCampaign market place
A remarkable aspect of this partnership is that MailBlue is a certified partner of the renowned American marketing automation software party ActiveCampaign. In addition to intensive cooperation with and training by ActiveCampaign, this means that MailBlue is a provider of ActiveCampaign’s email marketing software, but in Dutch.
This has resulted in a seamless integration of Spryng as a native option in the ActiveCampaign platform. This is a game-changer, as it allows Spryng to be one of the first European vendors to be included in the ecosystem of a global marketing automation leader.
Another big advantage of the partnership is that customers of ActiveCampaign and MailBlue can start sending SMS within 5 minutes due to the link that has been built. No development time is required from parties who want to start sending SMS.
Price of SMS via Spryng important USP for marketers
For marketers, ROI on their marketing spend is a key focus-point. Many of the existing vendors already integrated with ActiveCampaign are significantly more expensive and may not have the same focus on the European market as Spryng. For example, the price rate for an SMS was previously as much as 0.28 cents through a U.S. vendor. In the new partnership, this is lowered to 6.5 cents with Spryng. This is a whopping 77%(!) cheaper – and opens up a huge opportunity for European companies to create cost-effective, customized marketing automation campaigns using this powerful integration.
